Milk as a post workout recovery fluid?


Water should be our fluid or choice for before, during and after exercise (in most cases), but what about milk as a re-hydration and recovery option?! .


Milk is an excellent re hydration option, for the following reasons:

✓ Good source of protein (for muscle recovery)

✓ Good source of carb (for fuel recovery)

✓ Good source of calcium (to assist with bone health)

✓ Higher in sodium than some sports drinks

✓ Convenient option to grab after a workout or training session
